Description

In this objective, children will learn how to add suffix -ness to bases. Over
three 20-minute lessons, they will:

Review learning of adjectives
Learn that adding the suffix -ness to an adjective forms a noun
Review suffixing rules:

1. Just add the suffix -ness
2. Change the final letter y after a consonant to y then add the suffix -ness

Use word sums to build words with a range of morphemes
Reinforce learning with practical games
