In this objective, children will learn how to add the -y suffix to base words. Over three  20-minute lessons, they will:
·       Secure simple base word spellings

·       Review learning of consonants and vowels

·       Learn that adding the suffix -y to some noun base words turns them into adjectives

·       Learn three spelling rules (do nothing and add -y suffix, double a consonant add -y suffix and drop the letter e before adding -y)

·       Reinforce learning with practical games
