
Children are given the opportunity to revisit and consolidate their learning of the 2 times table. They will focus on identifying and whether a number is a multiple of 2. They should recognise multiples of 2 are numbers that can be divided into two equal groups. They learn to identify that a whole number is even if it has an even number of ones, regardless of whether the tens and hundreds digits are odd.
