Lesson 4: Recognise a quarter
This resource revisits the concept of a ‘quarter’ whilst introducing the students to the notation of 1/4. Different representations of 1/4 are explored with discussion-based activities. There is a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions.
