In this objective, children will learn how to add the prefix de- to bases. Over three  20-minute lessons, they will:
·               Learn how adding the prefix de- to a base changes the words meaning
·               Learn that adding the prefix de- to nouns turns them into verbs
·               Add the new prefix and other morphemes to bases to make new words
·               Recognise the difference between bound and free bases with the prefix de-
·               Learn the etymology of new bound bases
