
In this lesson, children will begin to understand that multiplication is commutative using arrays to support their learning. They will use concrete resources and begin to draw arrays as well as writing two multiplication sentences. This lesson includes a teaching presentation accompanied by additional fluency questions, differentiated practical fluency activities, differentiated reasoning and problem-solving challenge cards.
