Description

In this lesson, children will be taught how to divide by 10, securing the link between multiplication and division, in a variety of ways using concrete resources and pictorially. Children should be provided with manipulatives to support where applicable. There is a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions.

solve one-step problems involving multiplication and division, by calculating the answer using concrete objects, pictorial representations and arrays with the support of the teacher.
