In this lesson, children will learn to measure the volume of liquids in litres whilst accurately reading a range of scales. They will gain an understanding that litres are used to measure greater volumes and millilitres are used to measure smaller volumes of a liquid. This lesson includes a teaching presentation accompanied by additional fluency questions, differentiated practical fluency activities, differentiated reasoning and problem-solving challenge cards.
