In this lesson, children build on their learning earlier in this block and begin to write numbers to 100 in words. They focus on writing the tens and then use their understanding of partitioning to write any numbers in words. This lesson includes a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions, as well as 3 sets of extra fluency questions.
