Description

In this lesson, children will be introduced to coordinates including how to read them (x-axis first then y-axis next). They will learn to describe positions in the first quadrant and to read, write and use pairs of coordinates. There is a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions.
