
In this lesson, children will recap using position and direction language from Year 1 to describe the position of objects in relation to other objects. They will then think about using above, below and between to further describe the position of objects.
National Curriculum objectives:
Use mathematical vocabulary to describe position, direction and movement, including movement in a straight line and distinguishing between rotation as a turn and in terms of right
angles for quarter, half and three-quarter turns (clockwise and anticlockwise)
