
In this lesson, children will build on the previous learning in Year 1 to describe how an object turns. They will recap quarter, half, three-quarter and full turns and then further develop their understanding of clockwise and anticlockwise. They will have the opportunity to turn shapes as well as draw shapes in their final position. This lesson includes a teaching presentation accompanied by additional fluency questions, differentiated practical fluency activities, differentiated reasoning and problem-solving challenge cards.
