In this lesson, children build on their previous learning of numbers to 100. They count objects to 100 by making tens, both where objects are grouped in tens and not. This lesson includes a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions, as well as 3 sets of extra fluency questions.

• Read and write numbers to at least 100 in numerals and in words
• Identify, represent and estimate numbers using different representations, including the number line
• Count in steps of 2, 3 and 5 from 0, and in 10s from any number, forward and backward
