
In this lesson, children will learn to compare amounts of money using the words greatest, least, less than, greater than and equal to. They will learn to use comparison symbols and should recognise that where the pounds are equal they need only compare the pence and vice versa. This lesson includes a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated practical fluency activities, an additional fluency worksheet and differentiated reasoning and problem-solving challenge cards.
