Description

This lesson builds on previous learning by encouraging children to measure perimeter of shapes using equipment and working in a systematic way. Children are encouraged to think logically and use the properties of 2D shapes to determine what needs to be measured when measuring the perimeter of 2D shapes.

Measure, compare, add and subtract: lengths (m/cm/mm); mass (kg/g); volume/capacity (l/ml)
Measure the perimeter of simple 2-D shapes
