This lesson pack describes Shakespeare’s life and how he became a successful playwright. This lesson can be used to teach about Shakespeare or to celebrate his birthday (which is now known as Shakespeare day) on the 23rd April each year. This pack includes a lesson presentation, differentiated activity, challenge activity and a suggested next step marking activity. (The next step activity will need children to conduct extra research using the internet to find out the names of Shakespeare’s plays)
