In this lesson, children are introduced to negative numbers, exploring vertical representations of negative numbers in real life contexts. This lesson includes a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions, as well as 3 sets of extra fluency questions.
