
This lesson focuses on the core art skill of experimenting. Children will explore how illustrations can be used to give people information in different ways. Through practical painting activities, children will experiment with blending watercolour paints while creating ice cream illustrations, developing control over colour and water. They will explore how different amounts of water affect blending and texture and annotate their artwork to explain the techniques they used.
