This lesson focuses on the core art skill of appreciating and reflecting. Children will look carefully at their finished clay sculptures, varnish them, and talk about what they like, what went well and what they might change another time. They will also learn how to give kind and helpful feedback to their peers. This reflective process helps them to value their own creativity and understand how artists evaluate their work to keep improving.
