In this lesson, children use the column method for multiplication and explore alternative strategies for solving multiplication problems. They will explore applying all relevant previous learning to solve multi-step problems. There is a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions.
