In this lesson, children will learn to recognise repeating shape patterns, continue a pattern and find the ____th shape in a pattern. There is a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions.

compare and sort common 2-D and 3-D shapes and everyday objects
