This editable lesson focuses on the core DT skill of designing. In this lesson, children use their research and flavour knowledge to design their own sushi burrito creation in response to a clear design brief. They select ingredients from an agreed list, plan for flavour balance and texture variety and create annotated sketches using labels and exploded diagrams. Children then pitch their ideas to a partner, give constructive feedback and refine their designs before finalising them.
