
This editable lesson focuses on the core DT skill of researching. In this lesson, children learn about seasonality, exploring a range of summer vegetables (with a focus on root vegetables), to begin to understand how seasonality affects when and how vegetables grow. They take part in a guided tasting activity to describe flavours and textures. Please refer to the DT safety guidance for schools and teachers advice when undertaking any practical activities.
