This editable lesson focuses on the core Design and Technology (D&T) skill of evaluating.
In this lesson, the children will test their Egyptian-themed models to assess how well they meet their design criteria. They will test the effectiveness of their structural design, the success of their magnetic movement and the overall aesthetic impact. Pupils will compare their finished models to their original plans, identifying what worked well and what could be improved in future designs. Through guided discussion and peer feedback, they will reflect and apply problem-solving to refine their designs through a test–improve–evaluate process.
