Description

This editable lesson focuses on the core Design and Technology (DT) skill of developing technical knowledge, helping children to practise safe cutting and joining. Children will take part in a carousel of practical stations to test tools and joining methods such as glue and tape, and explore how materials bend, roll or connect. They will practise making strong joins to prepare for building a moving toy with a wheel and axle.
