This editable lesson focuses on the core Design and Technology (D&T) skill of researching through exploration. 
In this lesson, the children will explore pulleys, levers and linkages through hands-on examples, images and short challenges. They will then apply this learning to a fairy-tale scenario by identifying the user, the problem and the most suitable mechanism, sketching a simple solution and explaining why it is the best choice.
