This editable lesson focuses on the core Design and Technology (D&T) skill of designing.
In this lesson, the children will use their understanding of Gothic architecture and electrical and mechanical systems to design their own Gothic-themed model. They will develop and communicate their ideas through annotated sketches or computer-aided design (CAD), showing key features such as structure, strength, and special effects created by circuits or moving parts.
