This model text is a non-chronological report about the physical features of the UK. It has been written to meet the Year 5 expected standard and comes with a handy annotated version detailing the text-type specific features (red), grammar (green), punctuation (purple) and spelling (blue) teaching opportunities should you wish to use this text with your learners.
This resource also comes with a ‘model text comprehension pack’ focusing on content domains 2a, 2b and 2d.
