Description

This model text is a diary written in the role of a the young Santa who discovers his talents. It has been written to recount the events in Philippe Tempelman's short film 'The Real Santa'. It is a simplified text written to complement our Y5 Place Value of Punctuation and Grammar unit.

National curriculum objectives:Year 5: Pupils should be taught to identify the audience and purpose of the writing, selecting the appropriate form, and using other similar writing as models for their own.
