
This lesson focuses on the core art skill of creating. Children will explore how abstract art can show different meanings by choosing a feeling to represent. They will select colours, mix lighter and darker shades and use lines and shapes to create an abstract painting that shows emotion. Children will talk about the choices they make as they create their artwork.
