
This lesson focuses on the core art skill of creating. Children will explore how geometric shapes and lines can be used to stylise natural forms. They will study artists who combine geometry and organic elements and will apply their learning to create a mixed media composition using watercolour and pencil. Pupils will design a geometric animal artwork that balances contrast, shape and tone.
