Description

This SATS Smasher: Greater Depth pack includes two similar narratives. The texts tell the story of similar animals who prevent a robbery. They have been written to meet the Year 2 expected standard and come with a comparison comprehension based on the Reading Framework for children working at greater depth. This provides questions based on making inferences, making links between the two texts and predictions.

National Curriculum Objectives:

Year 2: Working at Greater Depth - The pupil can, in a story they are reading independently:

• make inferences
• make links between the book they are reading and other books they have read
• make a plausible prediction about what might happen on the basis of what has been read so far
