Description

This fun hide and seek activity allows children to find the different minibeasts hidden in the garden. Children can then use the template to write what they can see. This activity encourages children's independent writing as well as using the sentence starter if children want it.

Objectives
Children in Reception
Form lower-case and capital letters correctly (L)
Spell words by identifying the sounds and then writing the sound with letter/s (L)
Write short sentences with words with known letter-sound correspondences using a capital letter and full stop (L)
Re-read what they have written to check that it makes sense (L)
