Description

This is a Christmas themed board game. It gives children the opportunity to move around the board landing on the different colours. The children then pick a cracker of the same colour and read the tricky word on the card.
Objectives

Children in Reception
Learn new vocabulary. (CL)
Read individual letters by saying the sounds for them. (L)
Blend sounds into words, so that they can read short words made up of known letter-sound correspondences. (L)

Early Learning Goals
Work and play cooperatively and take turns with others. (PSED)
Say a sound for each letter in the alphabet and at least 10 digraphs. (L)
Read words consistent with their phonic knowledge by sound-blending.(L)...
