In this lesson, children learn that a ratio shows a relationship between two or more values and how they are related to each other. Children will begin to describe ratios in words, such as: 'there are 2 circles for every 4 squares'. There is a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions.
