Description

In this lesson, children will learn the difference between fractions and ratios using pictures and diagrams. They will use fraction and ratio notation to describe how two or more values are related. There is a teaching presentation and three levels of worksheet (working towards, expected and greater depth) with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem solving questions.

National Curriculum Objectives:

Mathematics Year 6: Solve problems involving the relative sizes of two quantities where missing values can be found by using integer multiplication and division facts.
