In this lesson, children build on their knowledge of finding 1%, 10%, 50% and 25% to find more complex percentages. They explore different methods that can be used and find out which is the most efficient. There is a teaching presentation and three levels of worksheets (working towards, expected and greater depth) with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem solving questions.

·       compare and order fractions, including fractions >1
·       associate a fraction with division and calculate decimal fraction equivalents [for example, 0.375] for a simple fraction [for example, 3/8]
·       recall and use equivalences between simple fractions, decimals and percentages, including in different context
