In this lesson, children recap learning from year 4 to read and plot coordinates on a coordinate grid within the first quadrant. They identify coordinates of given points before moving onto plotting given coordinates. This lesson includes a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions, as well as 3 sets of extra fluency questions.
