In this lesson, children will build on previous learning to work out a fraction of a given quantity using various representa- tions, starting with unit fractions and moving onto non-unit fractions. This lesson includes a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions, as well as 3 sets of extra fluency questions.
