In this lesson, partition numbers up to 10,000, looking at the number of thousands, hundreds, tens and ones. They use expanded number sentences both in words and numerals. This lesson includes a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions, as well as 3 sets of extra fluency questions.
