
In this lesson, children partition numbers to 1,000 into their place value columns. They represent numbers in part-whole models and write numbers in expanded forms. In this step, they will explicitly look at the placeholder. This lesson includes a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions, as well as 3 sets of extra fluency questions.
