Description

Children further develop their understanding of the relationship between centimetres and millimetres, using the fact 10 mm is equal to 1 cm. They use partitioning, bar models and part-whole models to complete conversions from millimetres to centimetres and centimetres into millimetres using the format, 23 mm = 2 cm and 3 mm.

Measure, compare, add and subtract: lengths (m/cm/mm); mass (kg/g); volume/capacity (l/ml)
