Description

In this lesson, children will learn to add three 1-digit numbers by adding two 1-digit numbers together first, and then adding the third 1-digit number. Once confident with this, they will learn to find the most efficient way to add the digits together using their prior knowledge to help them. This lesson includes a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated practical fluency activities and differentiated reasoning and problem-solving challenge cards.
