
In this lesson, children build on their knowledge of comparing and ordering numbers from previous years. They begin to use a variety of representations to compare numbers up to 100,000, before ordering sets of numbers both ascending and descending. This lesson includes a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions, as well as 3 sets of extra fluency questions.
