Description

In this lesson, children will be taught how to add equal groups together, linking to repeated addition and building on their knowledge of adding three single digit numbers. They will work in a variety of ways, using concrete resources and pictorially. Children should be provided with manipulatives to support where applicable. There is a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions.
