Lesson 1: Make tally charts
This lesson will help children to understand what a tally chart is and how to draw them accurately. It will support children in completing tally charts accurately and identifying mistakes. There is a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions.
