In this lesson, children compare amounts of money. They begin to compare amounts represented in the same unit (240p and 356p) and move to compare amounts represented in different units (£1.43 and 315p). They use their learning from the previous lessons to convert to a common unit. This lesson includes a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions, as well as 3 sets of extra fluency questions.
