Description

In this lesson, children apply their understanding of mixed numbers, improper fractions and comparison to compare and order fractions greater than 1. They explore using the wholes to compare and order, as well as using denominators and numerators when the wholes are the same. This lesson includes a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions, as well as 3 sets of extra fluency questions.
