In this lesson, children build on the previous step by looking at addition fact families. They explore the order of addition sentences and begin to recognise that addition is commutative. This lesson includes a teaching presentation accompanied by differentiated activities with a range of fluency, reasoning and problem-solving questions, as well as 3 sets of extra fluency questions.
