
This editable differentiated lesson pack focuses on helping children explore the many ways flowers can look different from one another. Through close observation and simple sorting activities, pupils learn to identify and describe flowers by their colour, shape and number of petals. They compare real examples and picture cards, spotting similarities and differences and beginning to classify flowers into groups. This lesson strengthens children’s observational skills and builds their confidence in using scientific language to describe the natural world.
